BIB NUMBER AND RACE PACKET PICK UP

Participants must personally pick up bib number and race packet or send a representative of their association on March 3rd, from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm and from 2:30pm to 7:00 pm and on March 4th, (only with the consent of the organization) from 7:30 am to 8:30 am at the marathon centre.

Upon receiving their bib:
-    Athletes having complied with the obligations set by the current Rules and Regulation must provide a filled in validation form, fully-fledged ID. Athletes who choose to participate with daily membership of the organization will find the card inside the bib envelope;

-    Those athletes who have not completed their registration and validation procedure by March, 2nd 2012 may receive their bib at the Marathon Centre only on March, 3rd. In order to receive their bib they must provide the missing documents (membership card or health form) and fully-fledged ID.

LUGGAGE SERVICE

At the start and at the finish points there will be a luggage service.
For the transport of the bags, from the start to the finish points, there will be some buses showing the finish points. Bags will be accepted till 8:45.

SHUTTLE SERVICE

The Shuttle Service will provide the transport of bags from Castiglione del Lago to the finish points. After the arrival the athletes can use the shuttle service to go back to Castiglione del Lago. The shuttle buses will show the name and the Km of the finish points.
Bags will be accepted till 8:45am.
In the morning athletes who require the shuttle service can use it to reach Castiglione del Lago from their finish points.

The shuttle service will be from:
Tuoro sul Trasimeno (km 15) at 7:50 am
Passignano(km 21) at 7:45am
Magione (km 30) at 7:30am
Santarcangelo (km 42) at 7:50am    

The shuttle service can be requested by e-mail at giov.far@gmail.com. The reservation fee is 3 € and it has to be payed with the same procedure as the registration. The reservation fee is not due from those ones coming back to Castiglione del Lago after the race.

TIMING CHIP

There will be a timing chip for the half-marathon, marathon and ultra-marathon. The chip will be used according to the instructions.

- The timing service will be supplied by a company named „Dream Runners Perugia“ ( www.dreamrunners.it)
- It is prohibited to partecipate without bib and timing chip. 
- The bib is strictly personal and cannot be given to anyone or tampered.
- The bib must be put in the front, must be completely visible and must not be bent.
- The chip must be placed on the shoe laces (according to the instructions).
- The missing or incorrect positioning of the chip does not allow the participant to enter the ranking.
- The chips will be returned  at the end of the race, according to the rules of the event.

The Chip must be returned at the different finish points. In case of non-participation or withdrawal during the race, the chip will be sent to: “ASD Filippide, via Amendola, 63 – 06061 – Castiglione del Lago – PG”. In case of failure to return by April 10th, 2011, the cost of chips will be € 20.00, and will be charged to the member, or alternatively to the group.

AFTER THE MARATHON

Athletes of the marathon and ultramarathon crossing the finish line will receive the official medal.
The results and the participation certificate (printable by the participant) will be freely available in the days following the race, on the site www.podismo.it.
Requests for changes and / or additions to the results will be accepted until March, 8^th, 2011 and must be sent to : strasimeno2012@dreamrunners.it.
Thereafter the rankings will be final.

GROUP PRIZES

The groups with minimum 30 participants in the 5 races will receive a ham.
The participants to the non-competitive sections will be calculated as 1 participant every 2 persons.
The groups with the maximum numbers of participants will receive (minimum 20):
1st € 100 (129)– 2nd e 75(80) – 3rd € 60 – 4th € 50 – 5th € 40 (50).
The groups with at least 10 participants in the ultramarathon will receive a ham even with less of 30 participants in the different races.

RACE PACKET

- For the marathon and ultramarathon runners the running clothing showed in the picture
- For the runners of the other distances just the shorts showed in the picture
- only the participants in the Marathon and Ultramarathon will receive a souvenir medal.
A personalized certificate of participation for all distances will be available online.

IMAGE RIGHTS

As a registered participant in the XI edition of the Strasimeno, each athlete expressly authorizes the organization, together with its partners, to use fixed or moving images taken of him/her and displayed during the Strasimeno. Authorization is unlimited and may be used the world throughout or included in mediums, such as promotional and/or advertising materials, publications and videos -as current laws permit-, and includes eventual extensions to the foreseen timeframe.  

LIABILITY AND PRIVACY

 Upon registration to Strasimeno the athlete hereby declares that he/she knows and accepts the provisions set by the current Rules and Regulations. Within the meaning of Leg. Decree n°196 dated  30/6/2003, the athlete is bound to read and accept  the Privacy Terms published on the Internet website www.podismo.it and to authorize the Organization to use his/her personal data.

COMPLAINTS

Complaints must be presented by March 05th 2012, by paying a tax of € 30.00, refoundable in case the complaints will be accepted.

STATEMENT OF RESPONSABILITY

Upon registration to the XI Strasimeno the athlete hereby declares that he/she knows and accepts all the provisions provided for by the current Rules and Regulations.and published in www.podismo.com. Furthermore he declares to be older than 18 years on March 4th 2012. He also expressly declares, under its responsibility, that he stated the truth (art. 2 Leg. Decree  04/01/1968 n. 15 modified by art. 3 comma 10 leg. Decree 15/05/1997 n. 127). He releases the organizers from any responsability, for damage to persons or property caused by him.
During the race, the streets will not be closed to the traffic, so it is necessary to respect the rules of the road.
